Luton's Draft Sustainable Communities Strategy 2026 is out for consultation until the 30th April 2008 Sustainable Communities.

The Luton Forum is Luton's Local Strategic Partnership (LSP).

The Forum brings together all the key public, business, voluntary and community sector organisations operating in Luton.

The Forum has developed Luton’s Community Plan, setting out a clear vision and strategy for improving the economic, environmental and social well-being of Luton 2002 to 2012.

The Plan has been developed through extensive consultation with the communities of Luton and aims to express their aspirations, needs and priorities about how the quality of life in Luton should be improved.

The Luton Forum is made up of The Forum, Coordinating Group (LPSB) and 4 Theme Groups:

• A Safer Stronger Communities
• Environment & Economy
• A Health & Well-Being
• Children & Young People

and is supported by 5 action groups, a Performance Managemnt Sub-Group and Other Groups.
